I am a Licensed Acupuncturist and Herbalist in the state of California, and am Nationally Board Certified in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). I studied at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, initially earning a Masters degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine, then continuing on to receive a Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. I have worked in a variety of settings with a variety of patients, spanning all age groups, including Rady Children’s Hospital, working with critically ill children and teens; UCSD RIMAC Sports Facility, working with student athletes with sports injuries; and at a Downtown San Diego Senior Center, working with the low-income senior population. Using acupuncture and herbs in conjunction with adjunct therapies, including Tui na, moxibustion, cupping, guasha, and nutritional counseling, I consider myself a “partner” in healing, assisting my clients in reaching their healing goals, and bringing balance to their lives. It is a great honor to see my clients become healthier, and attain freedom from pain.
